Abstract

This Study aims to determine the extent to which differences in SMP N 1 Lendah library with a library of SMP N 1 Galur based the Indonesian National Standard 7329:2009 numbers and to determine the achievement of SMP N 1 Lendah library or libraries SMP N 1 Galur that has met the National Standard of Indonesia number 7329:2009 on school Library standards in terms of library collections, library staff, extensive library, library services, and school library budget. Methods of data collection using the documentation, observations, and interviews. Validity and reliability of data re using the credibility test, transferabilitas, dependability, and konfirmabilitas. Analysis using descriptive qualitative research with comparative method. The result showed that: 1. Library of SMP N 1 Lendah has met 56,25% of Indonesian Standard 7329:2009 number of school libraries in terms of types of collections, a comparison of non-fiction and fiction, periodicals subscribed, head of the education library, education library staf, spacoius reading room, spacious room staff, types of services and budgets. That means the library of SMP N 1 Lendah nearly the Indonesian National Standard 7329:2009 number of school libraries. Library of SMP N 1 Lendah does not meet national standards 7329:2009 Indonesia number of school libraries in term of collection, the addition of collection, number of library staff, library room area, spacious living room collections, etc. Living space and hours of service. 2. Library of SMP N 1 Galur has met 75% of Indonesian National Standard 7329:2009 number of school libraries in terms of collection, type of collection, the addition of the collection, comparison of non-fiction and fiction, periodicals subscribed, the number of librarian, library education chief, education library staff, spacious reading room, staff room area, types of services and budgets. That means the library of SMP N 1 Galur better meet the Indonesian Natioal Standard 7329:2009 number of school libraries. Library of SMP N 1 Galur has not met the Indonesian National Standard 7329:2009 number of school libraries in the library room area, spacious living room collections, spacious living room and watch others layanan. 3. Percentage suitability library of SMP N 1 Lendah is one level below the percentage compliance the library of SMP N 1 Galur by the Indonesian National Standard 7329:2009 number of school libraries.
