Abstract

Research on Evaluation'' Against Lighting Layout table and chair reading In Library Reading Room Sedayu SMA N 1 Bantul (Ergonomics Study). This study aims to determine whether the reading room in the library Sedayu SMA N 1 Bantul is in conformity with the standard lighting or not based on standards recommended by SNI lighting for reading room, as well as evaluating the layout of tables and chairs reading. This type of research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach to ergonomics. While the data collection method uses observation and documentation. The measurement results for the library has been obtained that the average artificial lighting in the reading room and reading room reference circulation is 88 lux. From the above results have been obtained that the intensity of artificial lighting Library diruang read SMA N 1 Sedayu less than the minimum standard recommended by SNI 03-6575-2001 for a library. As for the average yield of natural lighting in the reading room and reading room refrerensi circulation is 31 lux. From the above results it can be concluded that the intensity has natural lighting in the reading room circulation and reference reading room at the Library of SMA N 1 Sedayu less than the minimum standards recommended by SNI 03-2396-2001. While the intensity of illumination for reading diruang circulation and reference reading room of the layout table and chairs have not appropriate reading. In because the results have not been evenly distributed illumination produced at each point table and chairs. Suggestions for research that needs to change their armature with armature and adding 8 reflector lamps in the den circulation and 11 lights in the reading room reference.
