Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence interest user go in the Archives and Library of Klaten. In this paper explained about the factors that influence interest user go to the library. The research method used is qualitative. To obtain valid data, researchers used several data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. All qualitative data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman models through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. This qualitative study using the credibility test and test konfirmailitas. To test the credibility of researchers using an extension of observation, negative case analysis, and memberchek. While researchers to test confirmability discussions with expert professional judgment in order to obtain research results more objective. Research results obtained is known that the factors that influence interest user go in the Archives and Library Klaten, namely: First, the lack of public awareness about a library. Second, the library collection is a collection completeness, suitability collection and kemutahiran collection can not give satisfaction to user. Third, the location of the library facilities ie buildings, arrangement of the collection, and the lack of facilities to meet the needs user. Fourth, the performance in serving user librarians and librarian attitudes.
