Abstract

This research is qualitative descriptive research which has aim to find out how the library role of SMP Negeri 3 Purworejo in supporting quality of education. The informants in this research are the headmaster, the head of library, the student and the teacher. Data collection methode is using observaions, interviews and docmentations. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman theory through three steps; data reductions, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The conclusions of this researh are the library of SMP Negeri 3 Purworejo has been acted in the learning process significantly, by providing condusive environment for learning processs; the library of SMP Negeri 3 Purworejo has been acted in the show the level of studendt learning achievement after using the library, the library of SMP Negeri 3 Purworejo also has been acted in determining the educational outcome of through achievement appropriate with the demands of the environment.
