Abstract

This reserach aimed to determine the effectiveness training of career planning to improvement career decision making self efficacy. Design of study which used randomized pre test – post test with control group design. Total subjects used in this study were 30 students who were divided into two groups, it is 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group. Collecting data in this study was using a scale of career decision making self efficacy that prepared by researcher. The method of data analysis used statistical parametric for the Independent Sample t-Test to determined the diference posttest score between experimental and control group, and Paired Sample t-Test to determined the diference score pretest and posttest on experimental group. The results of the analysis using the Independent Sample t-Test shows index t= 4.412 and p=0,000 (p<0,05), so it can be concluded that there is a diference score posttest between experimental and control group. ,whereas the results of the analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test shows indeks t=-6.400 and p=0,001 (p<0,05), so it can be concluded that there is a diference score pretest and posttest on experimental group before and after treatment. Therefore, it could be concluded that training of career planning increased the career decision making self efficacy. Keyword : Career planning training, Career decision making self efficacy
