Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to know the role of the Library of MAN (The State Islamic Senior High School) Lab UIN Yogyakarta in supporting learning. The role contains various activities to be carried out by the library in learning coupled with problems and solutions that are implemented. Data collection method using the interview, observation and documentation. Informers in this research are the head of the madrassa, librarians, teachers and student. Data analysis of this research using the theory of Miles and Huberman namely data reduction, data display, and verification (conclusion drawing). The results of this research is the role of the Library of MAN Lab UIN Yogyakarta in supporting of learning namely library collection to complement the learning materials, supports the activities of the scientific paper and to improve student reading interest. In support of learning, library to do some activities that provide the needed reference in learning, do user education, and each of the students who pass the required to provide the book. One of the suggestions the author of the library in order to more effectively with all the book collections of reading together in the library to grow and improve the reading interest especially to the students.
