Abstract

Value efficiency is seen to be something urgent related to the production cycle of a company. Especially this efficiency value is exposed to a lifestyle of halal impact on the emergence of opportunities and challenges in the various sectors of the economy, including the food and beverage industry. The optimization of efficiency is inevitable also increasingly high because of the competition between companies and the limitations of the resources. With this setting the value of the efficiency of a company is important to research, especially on the manufacturing companies sub sectors of food and beverages. This research aims to analyze the level of efficiency of thesix company's food and beverages subsector that are constantly recorded in Islamic Indonesia Stock Index (ISSI) since 2012-2015. The companies are, PT Indofood CBP Successful Makmur Tbk., PT Indofood Successful Prosperous Tbk., PT Magi Beautiful Tbk., PT. Sekar Laut, Tbk. Pt. Siantar Top Tbk., PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Co. Tbk. Methodologically, this research using quantitative methods with the analysis of the Data envelopment analysis. The Data used was obtained from the company's financial reports published by the Indonesia stock exchange official site (idx.co.id). Input variables are observed include total assets, cost of goods production and total debt. As for the output variables are observed i.e. net sales and operating profit. As for the results of this study, are; First, the average value of the efficiency of the company between 0,891-0,991. This shows that the majority of the companies food and beverage sub sector is at a condition that is not efficient. The average value of the highest efficiency is owned by PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Co. Tbk., amounting to 0.991, while the lowest average is owned by PT. Siantar Top Tbk amounting to 0891; and second, there is a difference between efficiency value of thesix companies sub sectors of food and beverages. The distinction is the caused by the difference in the ability of each company in managing the used input factors, profitability, and the value of debt that isn‟t balanced. In the context of this inefficiency in a company can be minimized. This is according with the rules of Fiqh
