Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between academic self concept and career maturity. The hypothesis of this research is there were positive correlation between academic self concept and career maturity. The subject in this research are 90 (ninety) students grade XII in SMK YADIKA Bandar Lampung. Data analysis was performed with statistical technique Product Moment from Pearson, with the help of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software. The result from this research showed that there is significant positive correlation between academic self conceptl with career maturity students SMK YADIKA Bandar Lampung, this is indicated by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,603 with p = 0,000, so concluded that the hypothesys is accepted. Self concept academic variable contributes to career maturity amounted to 36,3%, shown with R square 0,36.wile 63,7% is other variables that affect career maturity
