Abstract

The software is run needs to have the efficiency of memory usage, so can saving usage of RAM. Then reduces the chances of your computer being less responsive in web browsers when playing a game browser. Consumption of RAM will increase if compared with the activity of browsing, it required a standard reference to the memory used of software web browser in order for assessment quality of the software can be more objective. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with the method of observation. The data of memory usage from ten browsers given a browser game workload to analyzed using descriptive statistics to measure the spread of data. Based on the background, the default value references memory usage of the software running in the web browser game browser Angry Birds are 92.56413 KB, browser game for Shotgun vs. Zombies of 513.576 KB and game browser Mini Car Racer of 492.5005 KB. While the lowest results of memory usage when running a browser game Angry Birds of 496.452 KB and the highest of 704.28 KB, lowest results when running a browser game Shotgun vs. Zombies on memory usage is 456.348 KB and the highest is 708.048 KB, lowest results when running a browser-game Mini Car Racers is 486.728 KB and the highest is 749.852 KB.
