Abstract

Digital Library provides access for users that can be done at any time without an Accountant when the library is operational. The digital library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga provides students thesis collections which are provided in PDF format (portable document format) and can be downloaded through digilib.uin-suka.ac.id. This research aims to determine the usability of the Digital Library system, usability aspects of Jacob Nielsen and the Likert scale are use to measure the scale of respondents selected by simple random sampling technique that samples are using randomly without pay attention to the level in one population. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive statistics using SPSS 22. By using 5 usability aspects, a rate of 75% is obtained where students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga can read with User Experience (user experience) in a digital library. the results of the analysis of usability factors from the learnability aspect with a score of 3.1 by the faculty of culture and culture and the faculty of tarbiyah and teacher training. From the aspect of efficiency with the highest score 3.2 by the faculty of civil and cultural sciences. From the aspect of memorability with the highest score 2.9 by the faculty of tarbiyah and teacher training. From the aspect of error with the highest value 3.0 by the faculty of civilization and cultural sciences. From the aspect of satisfaction with the highest score 3.2 by the faculty of civil and cultural sciences.
