Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the relationship between students 'perceptions about Full Day School and students self adjustment with the actualization of the schools core values. In addition, an analysis was also carried out on the level of students perceptions of Full Day School, the level of adjustment of students, the level of actualization of school core values, as well as the contribution of students perceptions of Full Day School and the adjustment of students to the actualization of school core values. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research consisting of two independent variables, namely students perceptions about Full Day School (X1) and student self adjustment (X2), and one dependent variable, which is the actualization of school core values (Y). This research was carried out at Yogyakarta Demangan Elementary School by taking a sample of 114 students consisting of 20 people from IVA class, 19 from IVB, 19 from VA, 19 from VIA, 19 from VIA, and 18 from VIB. Sampling is done by using probability sampling technique that is proportionate stratified random sampling by referring to the random table. The data analysis method used in this study consists of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with the help of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) as statistical tools. The results showed that the level of students perceptions of Full Day School was included in the very good category with the recapitulation of respondents opinions of 50 respondents or the percentage of 44%. The contribution of students perceptions about Full Day School to the actualization of the schools core values is 27% and the remaining 73% is influenced by other variables. The level of adjustment of students is in the good category with the recapitulation of respondents as many as 55 respondents or the percentage of 48%. The contribution of students adjustment to the actualization of the core values of the school is 41.5% and the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other variables. The actualization level of the core values of schools is in the very good category with the recapitulation of respondents opinions of 62 respondents or the percentage of 54%. Students perceptions about Full Day School and student adaptation proved to have a significant effect on the actualization of the schools core values. This is evidenced by the calculated F value of 46,936 with a significance of 0,000 (0,000 <0.05). The magnitude of the relationship between students perceptions of Full Day School and actualization of the core values of the school is 0.523, while the adjustment of students with the actualization of the core values of the school is 0.644.
