Abstract

Alphabet books and Countings books have important role in the learning process at the beginning of the clhild to know the book, therefore the quality and presentation of the book must be suitable for children aged 2 – 7 years. Feasibility of content and presentation is a determining factor wether the book is suitable for childern or not. This research to determine childern’s books that are suitable for childern aged two to seven years at the Childern’s Collection Service Library Service Center DPAD DIY Library of Grhatama Pustaka. This research using quantitative method and descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this research concluded that in general the alphabet book collection at the Childern’s Collection Service Library Service Center DPAD DIY Library of Grhatama Pustaka95% is suitable for childern aged 2 – 7 years. Counting book collection in the Childern’s Collection Service Library Service Center DPAD DIY Library of Grhatama PustakaLibrary 100% is suitable for children aged 2 – 7 years.
