Abstract

This study is a study that aims to determine the effect of socialization, location, religiosity, and knowledge of the interests of potato farmers saving in Islamic banking. The population in this study was potato farmers in the Gembol village, Pejawaran District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. The sample in this study was taken from some farmers using convinience sampling techniques by determining the number of samples using the Slovin method. There were 97 respondents who were processed in this study. The primary data collection method used is the survey method using questionnaire media. In addition to the questionnaire, this research was also supported by interviews. Data analysis methods in this study are the validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test and hypothesis test with SPSS 16 program. Based on the results of the partial test analysis (t-test) of socialization, location, religiosity, and knowledge of potato farmers' interest in saving at the bank sharia, shows that there is a significant influence on farmers' interest in saving. While the variables of religiosity and knowledge show that there is no influence on the interest of potato farmers in saving at Islamic banks. Based on the analysis results of the Simultaneous test (F test) shows that simultaneous (together) socialization, location, religiosity and knowledge have a significant positive effect on the interests of potato farmers saving in Islamic bank sharia.
