Abstract

This study aims to examine how circulation services in the library of SMPN 2 Pakem, and find out what are the obstacles in the circulation service. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis in this study uses 3 (three) steps namely data reduction focusing on the research theme, presenting data explained based on observations, interviews and documentation, as well as drawing conclusions, concluding the analysis results after the analysis phase is finished. While testing the validity of the data using member check. The results showed that the circulation service in the library of SMPN 2 Pakem was still not good, from the evidence of the data that the writer took there was still a recording error due to the lack of computer facilities in the library, it was suggested that circulation services needed to be improved, both in its human resources and infrastructure.
