Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Instagram media exposure on interest in visiting tourist attractions in Kebumen. This research was conducted on 100 respondents, namely followers of the @explore_kebumen Instagram account. This research is a quantitative study with casual relationships, namely relationships that are causal in nature. The validity test in this study used the person's correlation (product moment) formula, while the reliability test in this study used a one-time measurement technique which was carried out with the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient. The results of the questionnaire data calculation show that the correlation value between the two variables is 0.670, this shows that the relationship between the two variables is strong, because it is in the interval 0.60 – 0,799. Then, based on the results of the t test carried out, the t-count value is greater than the t-table (8.927> 1.607) with a probability (0.000) smaller than the significant level of 0.05, thus Ha is accepted, which means that the media exposure variable has a positive effect. and significant to the variable interest in visiting.
