Abstract

Economic growth is the main indicator in measuring the welfare of a country. Economic growth in most countries in the world has increased so far. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence economic growth in OIC member countries. This study also aims to determine the economic growth in the 10 OIC member countries. The research period used is from 2009 to 2018, the data used is panel data and the model used is the panel data regression model. The results show that the variables of exports, government expenditure, human development index have a significant positive effect on economic growth in 10 OIC member countries. While the variable population growth, variable the labor force has a significant negative effect on economic growth in the 10 OIC member countries. The democracy index variable has no effect on economic growth in the 10 OIC member countries.
