Abstract

Currently, the economic development in Indonesia is very fast, so that people's needs are increasing, therefore people are thinking of looking for additional funds outside of the salary obtained by allocating funds, one of which is in the form of investment to get benefits in the future. With the prevalence of fraud regarding investment, therefore one must have knowledge and confidence in finance and have high motivation in order to be able to make good and good investment decisions. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the effect of financial literacy, financial efficacy and motivation on investment decisions in students of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research was conducted using 100 samples of FEBI students who have opened stock accounts using purposive sampling techniques. The data obtained are primary data by distributing questionnaires indirectly to respondents through an intermediary link google form, then tested using SPSS 26 software. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the variables of financial literacy, financial efficacy and motivation affect investment decisions and partially Financial literacy and motivation have a significant effect on investment decisions and financial efficacy has no effect on investment decisions.
