Abstract

This study aims to see (1) the differences in the types of commodities of Tengeran traditional market traders in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic; (2) differences in the length of time they worked for Tengeran traditional market traders in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic; (3) differences in the amount of business capital of Tengeran traditional market traders in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic; and (4) differences in income of Tengeran traditional market traders in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research used by researchers is comparative research. The research approach used in this research is a quantitative approach because it uses primary data. The sampling method in this study used incidental sampling. The sample in this study were 100 traditional market traders in Tengeran Village, Karangmojo District in the period of December 2020. The technique of using data using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Paired t Test. The results showed that (1) there were differences in the types of commodities of Tengeran traditional market traders in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is indicated by the value of t count is greater than t table (5.389> 1.984) and the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. (2) There is a difference in the length of time that Tengeran traditional market traders worked in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is indicated by the value of t count is greater than t table (6.241> 1.984) and the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. (3) There is a difference in the amount of business capital of the Tengeran traditional market traders in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is indicated by the value of t count is greater than t table (5,529> 1,984) and the significance value of 0,000 is less than 0.05. (4) There is a difference in the income of Tengeran traditional market traders in Karangmojo District before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is indicated by the value of t is greater than t table (5.236> 1.984) and the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05.
