Abstract

Wireless networking is a discipline that deals with communication between systems without using cables. This wireless network is often used for computer networks both at short distances and at long distances. Types of networks that are popular in the wireless network category include Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) and Wi-Fi. So, to determine the quality of the wireless internet network (wireless) at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten Utara, a network performance analysis must be carried out which focuses on how to monitor and measure the performance of the wireless network (wireless) and to find out how much network performance can use QoS (Quality of services). And to find out whether network services are good or not, the researchers conducted tests with 4G network technology Internet network service performance at SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 KLATEN is still not optimal when compared to the quality of 4G network services according to TIPHON standardization. For this reason, it is recommended to add more bandwidth so that the quality of internet services at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten Utara can be better, for example by way of data packet classification techniques, for example CBQ (Class Base queue).
