Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) how the concept of mufradāt and qawaid learning is in MuQaw7 application as a medium for learning Arabic in class VII MTs Assalafiyyah Mlangi Sleman Yogyakarta; (2) how to design the development of Arabic learning media based on MuQaw7 application for mastering of mufradāt and qawaid grade VII (3) what are the results of the development and implementation of mufradāt and qawaid learning media in the form of MuQaw7 application for Grade VII of MTs Assalafiyyah Mlangi Yogyakarta. This research is included in the Research and Development (R&D) research category by using a four-D stage model consisting of 4 stages; those are define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on these stages, it produces learning media in Android-Based MuQaw7 application form that has been validated by several material experts, media and teachers (peer reviewer). The results of the validation of several experts and teachers on the MuQaw7 application are at a very decent qualification level. The results of eligibility for presentation material experts get around average of 81% with a score of 4.04, media presentation experts average of 89% with a score of 4.45 and teachers (peer reviewer) presentation average of 96% and get a score of 4.78 . The results showed: 1) the concept of developing MuQaw7 application contained six mufradāt materials and exercises, as well as four qawaid materials and question exercises. While the learning concept in MuQaw7 application is by paying attention to Maharah Istimā', Qirā'ah and Kitābah. 2) MuQaw7 application is based on android and designed with audio (istimā ') that can be heard by the user and reproduced as well as the existence of practicing the exercises to determine the user's level of understanding. 3) the results of the development and implementation of this application-based learning media received a positive response from grade VII students of MTs Assalafiyyah Mlangi Yogyakarta with an average percentage of 93% so that it can be categorized as Excellent. In addition, there is an increase in the value before and after using MuQaw7 application. Based on the results of the analysis of this study, it shows that the creation of Arabic learning media for mufradāt and qawaid learning and can be used as learning media both in class and outside the classroom.
