Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest and motivation of students at MI Ma'Arif Candran Yogyakarta in grade IV students with the aim of knowing: 1) Implementation of thematic learning carried out by students in grade IV in online learning at MI Ma'arif Candran Godean ; 2) How is the analysis of students' interests and motivations in thematic learning for class IV in online learning at Mi Ma'arif Candran Godean. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data is analyzed by describing it. In this study, the main resource persons were students and teachers, as well as the head of the madrasa as supporting data. The data is verified by using the validity of the data in the form of triangulation, then the data is analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data and the final stage of drawing conclusions. The results of the research related to the analysis of students' interests and motivations in fourth grade thematic learning in online learning at MI Ma'arif Candran Godean are as follows: 1) The implementation of thematic learning carried out by students in grade IV in online learning at MI Ma'arif Candran Godean includes three indicators, namely: Thematic Learning Planning, Thematic Learning Implementation, Evaluation Stage. 2) Analysis of students' interests and motivations in thematic learning of Class IV in online learning at MI Ma'arif Candran Godean, from the results of the analysis on students' interest in online learning. Factors that can increase interest and motivation are as follows: Interests include: a) Mastering the material, b) Use of methods, c) Appearance (Performance), d) Excitement and willingness to learn. e) Evaluating a lesson. Motives include: a) Giving Points b) Prizes, c) Rivalry/Competition, d) Ego-involvement, e) Giving Tests f) Praise, g) Punishment h) Desire to Learn, Interests, Recognized Goals Formulation of goals and well received by students, will be an important motivation.
