Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work design, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance during the COVID-19 epidemic, a case study of BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative in nature with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. The technique of taking in this research is saturated sample, where the entire population is a sample of 33 employees. The data in this study were obtained from distributing questionnaires to employees. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis test and hypothesis testing using the IBM SPSS Version 25 application. The results of the research processed by the SPSS version 25 program show that the R square value is 0.505 or by 50.5%. This means that 50.5% of the variation in employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic can be explained by variations of the three independent variables of work design, work discipline, and work environment. While the rest (100% -50.5% = 49.5%) is explained by reasons other than the model. The results of this study (T test) state that work design and work environment do not have a significant effect on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic, a case study of BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera Yogyakarta. The results (F test) show that work design, work discipline, and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic case study of BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera Yogyakarta.
