Abstract

Islam in realizing prosperity is carrying out Allah's commands in the fourth pillar of Islam, namely zakat. Zakat is an important instrument in Islam which aims to alleviate poverty and improve welfare in society. The embodiment of the successful management of zakat is the distribution of zakat funds that are right on target, comprehensive counseling related to business assistance that will be managed by mustahik. This study aims to analyze whether the distribution of zakat funds in BAZNAS RI contributes to improving the welfare of mustahik recipients of zakat funds. This research is a quantitative study using primary data in the form of a questionnaire collected by the compilers of the mustahik recipients of zakat funds. In this study using the method of testing tools multiple linear regression analysis. the dependent variable is mustahik's welfare, and the independent variable is the amount of zakat funds, mustahik's income, mustahik's expenditure, and business assistance. The results of the study show that simultaneously the independent variable affects the dependent variable, namely the welfare of mustahik recipients of zakat funds. Partially, the independent variable, the amount of zakat funds and business assistance, has a significant effect on the mustahik welfare variable. While the mustahik income variable and mustahik expenditure variable have no significant effect on the welfare variable of mustahik recipients of zakat funds.
