Abstract
Bank BPD DIY Syariah is one of the best Sharia Business Units in Indonesia, with good financial performance achievements. However, human resources or employee performance are still the weaknesses of Bank BPD DIY Syariah in the SWOT analysis. Therefore, it is necessary to have research to measure the performance of the employees of Bank BPD DIY Syariah, where the indicators used in this study relate to individual characteristics that have a close relationship with human resources. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of big five personality, self-efficacy and locus of control on employee performance of Bank BPD DIY Syariah. The population used in this study were 37 employees of Bank BPD DIY Syariah with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used is a questionnaire with multiple linear regression data analysis tools through IBM SPSS Statistic 23. The test results show that openness to experience has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, extraversion, agreeableness, self-efficacy and locus of control have a positive and significant effect. on employee performance, as well as conscientiousness and neuroticism do not affect the employee performance of Bank BPD DIY Syariah.
