Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of corporate governance, profitability, and corporate social responsibility variables on firm value. Corporate governance proxied by the board of commissioners, board of directors, and audit committee, profitability proxied by Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE), and social responsibility using those in the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 and firm value which is measured using Tobin's Q. This type of research is quantitative research using purposive sampling method in sample selection. The population in this study are companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) with a five-year period, namely in 2015-2019. Tests in this study using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed that the board of commissioners, board of directors, and audit committee had no effect on firm value, while Return on Assets (ROA) had a positive effect on firm value, Return On Equity (ROE) had a negative effect on firm value, and social responsibility had a positive effect to the value of the company.
