Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has been endemic in Indonesia since 2020 until now, has shifted learning in schools to online learning. So the teacher must prepare learning methods that are appropriate to current conditions. One of them by utilizing Google Classroom media. But the use of these media still needs to be developed further in order to facilitate the process of learning mathematics. So it is necessary to conduct further research on this matter. The problems studied in this research are the process of learning mathematics and the obstacles that are "faced in class III mathematics learning during the Covid-19 pandemic". This type of qualitative research is used with a field research design. Sources of data obtained in this study were taken from one deputy head of the curriculum, 3 homeroom teachers, 15 guardians of students, and 15 third grade students. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The technique of checking the validity of the data is using the triangulation method. The results showed that the learning process at SD Muhammadiyah Bodon was carried out online. In learning mathematics, the teacher uses one sheet of lesson plans and delivers the material through learning videos that are sent to students through the classroom in Google Classroom. In the process of presenting the material, the teacher also uses other media, namely a pdf file containing PPT which explains the material being taught and Learning Videos on Youtube. From the use of video media, it is stated that the impact of using Google Classroom media is more in a negative direction. This is influenced by mathematical material which is considered quite difficult to understand if you only look at it from the media.
