Abstract

The blacksmith industry is a blacksmith business, where this industry initially only made traditional weapons. Over time, the development of the blacksmith's manufacture began to change the form of his business by developing the manufacture of blacksmiths with various types such as kitchen knives, sickles, hoes and so on. Blacksmith products themselves have various types which sometimes confuse buyers to choose which product is suitable. Therefore we need a system that not only provides information but can also provide recommendations for blacksmith products according to the parameters desired by the user. The recommendation method that can be used is the fuzzy database model Tahani. This method allows the natural handling of data by following the human mind. The parameters used are product price, product size, and product durability. The results of the blacksmith product recommendations are based on the membership value or fire strength, then the recommendation results will be sorted from the highest to the lowest fire strength. he system development method used is the waterfall method. This waterfall model takes a systematic and sequential approach starting from the level of system requirements and then moving on to the analysis, design, coding, testing/verification, and maintenance stages. The results of the case experiments that have been carried out by manual calculations and system calculations give the same results or are 100% accurate. The difference in the fuzzy set of each user will provide a different recommendation value from one user to another. Overall, the system built is able to provide recommendations for blacksmith products to users.
