Abstract

UTD PMI Bantul Regency is the agency responsible for the management of blood supply in Bantul Regency. In 2020 the UTD Bantul Regency experienced a problem, namely not being able to meet the blood demand from the recipient due to the reduced number of donors during the pandemic. During the pandemic period, every day, only 15 to 20 donors came to UTD PMI Bantul, while the average daily demand exceeded the number of donors. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study was to determine the optimal blood supply using the probabilistic continuous review method by finding the optimal number of reorders (q0), reorder point (r) and the amount of safety stock (SS). Based on the results of data processing, the optimal q0 value for blood group A, blood group B, blood group O and blood group AB respectively are 13 bags, 15 bags of blood, 19 bags and 6 bags of blood at each time of ordering. The reorder point for blood type A is at the level of supply of 5 blood bags, 6 bags of blood for type B blood, 11 bags of blood for type O blood and 1 bag of blood for type AB blood. The amount of stock for blood group A is 3 bags of blood, 4 bags of blood for blood group B, 8 bags of blood for type O blood and 1 bag of blood for blood group AB.
