Abstract

The Job Training Center in Sragen is a place for job training which is officially chosen by the government. The sragen Regency Job Training Center works under the auspices of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Manpower Office in the Sragen Regency area, its function is to provide a special skills program that can help the community improve their skills. However, in practice there are still shortcomings in the Job Training Center in the Sragen Regency area in choosing job training programs that are in accordance with community conditions. This is because the program selection procedure is only based on the availability of places and training instructors without looking at the continuation after the program is completed. In addition, all program selection procedures are still done manually, so it takes a relatively longer time and is prone to errors. To overcome this, we need a system that can assist the decision making process. This system will select the best Job Training program, according to the Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) method. There are 4 criteria used in this study, namely alumni who work, interest in training, facilities and instructors. The result of this research is that a decision support system by applying the Multi- Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) method can produce recommendations for the best job training programs and deserve to be continued. From the results of functionality testing, about 100% of respondents agree with the system, while the result of usability testing show that 30,21% strongly agree, 56,25% agree, and 13,54% are neutral. Thus, most respondents agree that the system has been running as expected.
