Abstract

Decision Support Systems have so many different methods that we don't know which method is the most relevant in solving a case. In this study with the non-Academic Quality Award assessment case at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, it is necessary to have a relevant method in making decisions to resolve the case. However, many don’t know the most relevant method, therefore a sensitivity analysis is needed to find out which method is the most relevant in the non-Academic Quality Award assessment case at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This study aims to perform a comparative analysis of the Weighted Product (WP) method and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method in the non-Academic Quality Award assessment of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The algorithm that used in the comparison of these two methods is sensitivity analysis. The final result of the sensitivity process is the higher the percentage change in ranking that occurs in each iteration process, it can be said that the method is more sensitive and has the right to be chosen to resolve the case. Sensitivity analysis will be carried out on 6 trials by changing the weight values starting from 1, 1.5, and 2 with an increase the weight values of 0.5 and 0.25. Based on the research conducted, the sensitivity analysis on the WP method with 6 trials resulted in a sensitivity percentage of 3.96% and the sensitivity analysis on the TOPSIS method with 6 trials yielded a total sensitivity percentage of 5.02%. In this study, the TOPSIS method has a higher ranking change value and sensitivity percentage compared to WP, so that the relevant decision making in the ANOMIC assessment of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta can be done using the TOPSIS method.
