Abstract

Textiles are one of the products that are in high demand throughout the world, so they have a big influence on Indonesian exports. The purpose of this research is to see how much competitiveness of Indonesian textile commodity exports to several countries in the world. The instrument for measuring competitiveness used in this research is Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). In addition, there are also price variables, textile production, exchange rates, and inflation rates. The research method used is panel data regression analysis method with random effect model estimation using panel data from the 10 largest exporting countries in 2012-2020. The results showed that simultaneously or together all variables had a significant effect on Indonesian textile exports. While partially the RCA index variable that has a significant effect. Meanwhile, the variables of price, production, exchange rate and inflation rate have no significant effect.
