Abstract

This study aims to produce an interconnection-integrated mathematical module with a contextual approach to the flat-sided geometry as a learning resource for class VIII at MTs Darul Qur'an, to find out the quality of the interconnection-integratedintegrated mathematics module with a contextual approach to the flat-sided shape material as a source. studying for class VIII at MTs Darul Qur'an. The product developed is a mathematical module with the insight of interconnection integration with a contextual approach to the material of flat-sided geometry as a learning resource for class VIII. Given the limitations of time and cost, the researcher only limits this research as follows: 1) The resulting product is in the form of a mathematical module which is limited to the material of flat-sided shapes including cubes, blocks, prisms and pyramids. 2) The development of this mathematics module is made and integrated with Islamic religious material. 3) This research only reached the expert validation stage. From the results of research conducted at MTs Darul Quran, especially in mathematics, several things can be conveyed: 1) This research produces a mathematical module with an insight into the integration of interconnections in the material of flat side space. This mathematics module was developed based on the results of a needs analysis which includes an analysis of student characteristics and material analysis for class VIII at MTs Darul Qur'an. Then proceed with the module design stage and the development of the mathematics module. 2) After the mathematics module has passed the product validation that has been given by 4 validators, the mathematical module with insight into the integration of interconnections on the flatsided geometry material is generally declared valid with revisions and deserves to be continued in the next step, namely testing after making revisions according to criticism and suggestions from validator.
