Abstract
In organizations, communication is a tool that functions as a liaison and motivator so that the organization can continue to survive and develop. Communication is also the key to overcoming conflict. SAR DIY is a free organization with no obligation to continue to survive in the DIY SAR, but in fact the DIY SAR continues to progress, proven that many operations are difficult to successfully carry out DIY SAR. SAR DIY has so far remained and has become the largest independent volunteer organization in Yogyakarta and has carried out many operations and evacuation of accidents and disasters. This study aims to determine the communication function of organizations that have connections in dealing with conflicts in SAR DIY. This research is descriptive-qualitative research that uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation to obtain results. The results of the study indicate that the organizational communication function is able to overcome conflicts in SAR DIY.
