Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of interpersonal conflict, workload, work environment and communication toward employees’ work stress in BRI Syariah Bank at Semarang branch. The method of research which is used in this research is quantitative method. Population in this research is all employees of BRI Syariah Bank at Semarang branch. The samples are 43 respondents. The sample collection of this research is using nonprobability sampling method with purposive sampling criteria. Data collection technique is done by spreading the questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis is used as the method analysis in this research. The research results in that interpersonal conflict, workload, work environment and communication simultaneously affect the employees’ work stress in BRI Syariah Bank at Semarang branch. This result is proved by the value Fcalculation 14,80 with signification value 0,000<0,05. Partially interpersonal conflict variable does not have any influence toward work stress with tcalculation -0,780 and signification value 0.440. The workload variable affects on works stress with tcalculation 2,628 with signification value 0,012. Work environment variable does not affect on work stress with tcalculation 0,529 and signification value 0,600. The communication variable affects on work stress with tcalculation 3,329 and signification value 0,02.
