Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of job promotion and work performance on employee work satisfaction through motivation as an inteverning variable at Bank Muamalat KC Yogyakarta. The population in this study is all employees of Bank Muamalat KC Yogyakarta. Sampling in this study used saturated samples. The primary data of this study was obtained from the dissemination of questionnaires. The study used 49 respondents who could be processed. With the help of SPSS 25 software obtained the results that job promotion does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction, job performance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, promotion of positions has a positive and significant effect on motivation, work performance does not have a significant effect on motivation, motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, promotion of positions through motivation has a positive and significant effect. Employee job satisfaction, and job performance through motivation has no significant effect on employee job satisfaction.
