Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to the establishment of social distancing policies that have an impact on the world of education. This impact is felt at all levels of education, from elementary school to university, so learning needs to switch to internet access. Blended learning was born as a response to the weaknesses of face-to-face and online learning. At the same time, the researcher discussed the implementation of blended learning to determine student interest in learning Arabic in class X MIPA 1 MAN 2 Malang City in the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used in data collection consists of three elements, namely interviews, questionnaires and observations. The results obtained are knowledge of the application of the blended learning model in Arabic learning which is divided into three stages, namely: planning, processing and implementation, knowledge of students' academic interest in the application of the blended learning model is very high in Arabic class X MIPA 1 MAN 2 MALANG CITY, and knowledge of the factors that hinder the application of the blended learning model in learning Arabic, among others: difficult signals, lack of IT teachers and lack of supervision in students' independent learning.
