Abstract

The background of this research is the implementation of the Computer Operator and Young Graphic Designer training program at the Community Work Training Center, with the aim of adding and developing the competencies of students, especially in the field of information and communication technology. This research was carried out with the objectives: 1) Knowing the suitability of the training program implemented at the Community Job Training Center with the applicable SKKNI 2) Knowing the suitability of the training program curriculum with application development 3) Knowing the obstacles found in the implementation of the training program at the Community Job Training Center. This research is a qualitative research conducted at the Community Work Training Center of the Al Iman Islamic Institute and Boarding School Muntilan with the research subject being the Computer Operator Training Program and Young Graphic Designers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, in the process of data analysis, the data reduction method was used in stages starting with transcript, coding, grouping and comparing data. As for the presentation by narrating the findings and drawing conclusions in the study. The results of the research in the evaluation of the training program are as follows: 1) The Computer Operator and Young Graphic Designer Training Program at the Al Iman Muntilan Islamic Boarding School Community BLK which was carried out was in accordance with the SKKNI in the computer operator and young graphic designer sector includes the competency units taught, implementation time, qualifications of participants and instructors. 2) The curriculum of the training program and curriculum supporting devices were found to be less relevant to the development of the application used. In the tools used mainly in the module book, it was found that a number of tutorials taught were not in accordance with the development of the software used. 3) In the implementation of the training program it was found that the trainees were not taught to prepare the software used. So that after the participants have finished participating in the training program, they still have to learn in preparing the software to be used. The evaluation is carried out as a material for consideration in planning the next training program.
