Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Muda Bhakti Library as a learning resource for the Ngablak Village community. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that examines the role of the library as a source of community learning. The subject of this research is the founder of the library, the head of the library, and the user. The data collection method is through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity techniques with extended observations, triangulation, and member check. The result of this research is that the Muda Bhakti Library makes efforts in carrying out its role as a learning resource such as holding study groups for school-age children starting from elementary, junior high, and high school levels. The library also invites tutors to provide additional lessons for elementary and junior high school students. Meanwhile, for early childhood, read aloud activities are held or read books together as an introduction to books and libraries. The Muda Bhakti Library also provides computer, wifi, and printer facilities that can be used to support community academic activities, especially for students who want to do assignments online.
