Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal factually about the Karimah Social Media Da'wah Communication Strategy by the Youth of the Great Mosque of Mujahidin Pontianak. The mosque youth in the Women's Sector named Youth Mujahidin Kal-Bar is experiencing development of activities in 2021-2022. The strategy includes a communication process, namely planning and management of the implementation of these activities which consist of communication functions to be the focus of this research, including: 1) planning; 2) implementation management in the form of socialization, cooperation and methods; and 3) evaluation. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions, and data verification. The data validity technique is by extending the observation, triangulation, and member check. Based on the analysis carried out, the researchers concluded that: The model used in the Social Media Da'wah Communication Strategy of Karimah Youth Mosque (REMAS) Mujahidin uses a 10 circle communication planning model, namely: Phase 1: Technology & problems identification and information needs assessment, Phase 2: Campaign objectives formulation, Phase 3: Strategy development and information positioning, Phase 4: Audience analysis and segmentation, Phase 5: Multi-media selection. and Phase 6: Message design, Phase 7: Management planning, Phase 8: Training of personnel, Phase 9: Field implementation, and Phase 10: Process documentation. Furthermore, at the stage of implementing the Karimah activities, which consist of: 1) the planning carried out by Mujahidin Youth in the Women's Sector is the determination of presenters, materials, and schedule of activities. This activity is in accordance with the needs of today's youth and Muslim women with the concept of providing gifts or door prizes. 2) the implementation carried out by Mujahidin Youth in the Women's Sector is socialization (invitation of activity information about routine Muslim studies from social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp), collaboration with related parties, namely Salimah. From the results of the cooperation between the Women's Division and Salimah, the Women's Division received a presenter who would be determined by Salimah to fill Karimah's da'wah activities. Meanwhile, Salimah got a promotion, namely the brand or name of this organization on an invitation to information on activities in the form of a Karimah pamphlet which would be juxtaposed with Youth Mujahidin. In the implementation process, such materials and door prizes are part of the da'wah method. The da'wah method used is the lecture method, the oral-humor method, the questionand- answer method, and the coupon method (sponsorship).
