Abstract

Economic growth is every increase national GDP in a certain year reduced by the previous year. Increasing economic growth rates can be influenced by many variables. This study uses zakat, HDI, and investment as variables to determine their effect on economic growth. Zakat plays a role in increasing purchasing power through distribution funds to mustahik, HDI plays a role in increasing human resources so that it can open opportunities for better productivity, investment plays a role in providing capital for the government and companies. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, which is the information obtained by processing numbers mathematically and explained in depth using related theories. The data in this study is secondary time series data from 2010-2021 obtained from the BPS and BAZNAS websites. The analytical method in this study is ECM (Error Correction Model), data processed by program tool Eviews 10. The results of this study indicate that zakat and HDI variables have significant positive effect in long term and short term on economic growth. While the investment has no significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia.
