Abstract

Learning the Qur'an for Muslims is obligatory. The first step to learning to study the Koran is being able to read the letters of the Koran, namely the Hijaiyah letters. One method for learning to read the Koran is the qiroati method. The qiroati method is a method of reading the Koran that has existed since 1963 which was discovered by K.H Dachlan Salim Zakarsyi. The problems studied in this research are the process of learning to read the Koran using the qiroati method directly and the factors that support and inhibit it in class III SDIT Hidayah Ceper Klaten. The type of research used is qualitative research. Sources of data were obtained from school principals, deputy heads of curriculum, 6 students, and 2 Ustadzah qiroati supervisors. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions as well as data verification. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses triangulation. The results of this study are that SDIT Hidayah Klaten has implemented the latest qiroati system, namely 4 volumes since the 2022/2023 academic year. Implementation of the qiroati process in each group with classical and private. Evaluation is always done after students read, based on their reading students are immediately determined whether to continue or repeat. The implementation of qiroati at SDIT Hidayah Ceper is influenced by supporting factors, namely competent qiroati coaches and active parents. The inhibiting factors are the ability of students, the results of the online learning system and passive parents.
