Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning system on the company's financial performance. An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system can be defined as a technology used to solve company problems in integrating existing information in the company in real time by integrating company data into a centralized company database. This study uses 4 variables, namely the ERP, Return on Asset, Tobin’s Q, and 3 control variables namely the Size, Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio. This study uses a purposive sampling method in selecting the sample, with the sample criteria being a manufacturing company that implements an enterprise resource planning system and is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on these criteria, a sample of 14 companies was obtained for the 2017-2021 period. This research was conducted using quantitative methods and the analytical techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing with the R2 test f test and t test. The results of the study show that ERP has a significant positive effect on financial performance as measured by ROA and Tobins'Q
