Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors that may influence the intention to use Hajj savings. This study includes four independent variables, one dependent variable and one moderating variable. Attitude variables, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and Hajj savings literacy as independent variables. The intention variable uses as the dependent variable and the religiosity variable as the moderating variable. This research is a quantitative study using primary data and data collection through distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale with four alternative answer choices. Based on the conveniance and purposive sampling method, a sample of 157 respondents was obtained. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling and Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with analysis tools using Smart-PLS 3.0. The test results show varying results, of the 7 influences tested, there are 3 relationships that have a significant effect, namely the attitude variable, subjective norms and Hajj savings literacy on the intention to use Hajj savings. While there are 4 insignificant relationships including the variable of perceived behavioral control on intention and the religiosity variable as moderation, there is no effect on the variables of attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control and intention to use Hajj savings.
