Abstract

Covid-19 has spread throughout all regions in Indonesian until there are several areas with the highest number of cases. East Kalimantan is included in the top six provinces where the others are located on the island of Java. When viewed, 86% of the people of East Kalimantan are quite obedient to use masks, so it can be included that they are knowledgeable about health protocols, but the maximality in other health protocols is still lacking. The East Kalimantan government cooperates with the Covid-19 Task Force in reducing the covid-19 rate, in following the development of the globalization era, the government provides an information forum for its people by regulary sharing information about covid-19 and invitations to comply with health protocols uploaded on @pemprov_kaltim accounts. From the explanation above, it is interested in conducting research to determine the amount of influence of visual content on compliance with health protocols. To help answer the problem, Stimulus-Response is quite appropriate to use as a research foundation, because explaining all forms of messages conveyed both verbally and non-verbally can elicit a response. This research uses a quantitative approach and survey research method to 100 followers of @pemprov_kaltim Instagram account. After being analyzed with simple linear regression, there was an influence of 43% of Instagram visual content @pemprov_kaltim affect health protocol compliance.
