Abstract

Currently the development of the sensor, one of which is the camera sensor, is strongly influenced by information and computer technology development. Coverage area of image sensor is larger than existing sensors such as infrared sensor, PIR sensor, ultrasonic sensor and other motion sensors. The sensor is expected to work more optimal than before. In addition, the image sensor also can be used as a tool to capture activities that occur for documentation. The existence of the image sensor's performance in this security system makes is same with the performance of the human visual system that are observing, processing, analyzing and making decisions. Method to imitate the human visual performance is known as computer vision. In this system, the image sensor replaces the position of the functionality of the eyes as sight sense. To make the image sensor as sight sense and make it able to know the movements is needed the motion detection process toward image captures. Motion detection process on this system uses image processing technique by looking for the differences between each captured image frame with standard image. Image processing is used to process the captured images from image sensor to be identifyed whether the activities which were captured by the image sensor, were dangerous activities or not. The result of application can be used to detect the movement and stores suspicious activities images which captured by camera so that the images can be used as documentation data. Besides that, the stored images can be sent to the hosts by email in order to convince them in making the next decision in the warning report which was sent by the system. Besides email, there are other warning report applications which are provided such as Short Message Service, Alarm, and Text alert.
