Abstract
The research on the influence of interest facilities against students visit to the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta aims to know how the influence of student interest of visiting to the Library facilities in SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta, and to find out how big is the influence offacility against students interest invisiting of the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Methods of data collectionare done by using questionnairesas the primary method, observation, documentation and interviews as acomplementary method. Variable usedis the independent variable (facility) and the dependent variable (student interest in visiting). It takes in Accidental sampling,with a number sample of 91 respondents. Analysis of data use simple linear regression formula and the data processed by using SPSS version 17 for windows. The results showed that the effect of students interest invisiting to the facility in the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta including good categories as evidenced by the Grand Mean of 3.23. As for the regression results can be obtained by unknown r-square is0.367, which means that the library facility affects the student interest of visiting at 36.7%. While the other 63.3% influenced by other variables besides the variable library facilities. From the research,it can be recommended that beside the library facilities there are several factors that influence student interest invisiting to the library, such ascollection, service, and management systems.
