Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out how pemustaka perceptions toward the use of journals in the library STIKES Wira Husada Yogyakarta. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. To collect data using interviewing techniques, documentation and questionnaires. Accidental sampling technique samples. From this research can diketahuai that pemustaka perception toward the use of journals in the category of being: on indikaor needs 59%, Motif 50.79%, Interest 46.8%, 64.3% completeness of the collection of journals, the skills of librarians in serving pemustaka 64.5% and 46.7% availability search tool. In this research can be known values for the utilization of the journal is 55.3%, This suggests that the perception pemustaka toward the use of journals in the library STIKES Wira Husada Yogyakarta in the category of being, for The library is expected to increase the quality of care pemustaka journals so that the information needs can bemet.
