Abstract

The success of a company can be measured from its financial performance. Financial performance is used as a reference material for future profit planning. The financial performance of companies in Indonesia in the last three years has fluctuated. The main cause of the decline in financial performance is the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance, leverage and growth on the company's financial performance with corporate social responsibility as a moderating variable. This study used a sample of 13 companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index for the 2017-2021 period. The data in this study used panel data and was assisted by eviews 10 software. The results showed that good corporate governance had no significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, leverage and growth have a significant effect on financial performance. Corporate social responsibility shows that it does not strengthen good corporate governance, leverage and growth on financial performance.
