Abstract

Social media, one of the means for delivering messages that the public to get information. Social media such as Instagram and Tiktok are the media most often used by the public. Instagram and TikTok are widely used by companies to advertise or to introduce their products to their users. For example Mojosemi Forest Park, which uses Instagram and Tiktok accounts to increase the attractiveness of tourists to visit by including content containing these tourist attractions. This study is to determine the effect of viral news on social media Instagram and Tiktok on the attractiveness of Mojosemi Forest Park Magetan tourists using the AISAS model. This study uses quantitative descriptive research methods. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample size of 100 people or respondents. The sample of this study is followers of the Instagram and Tiktok @mojosemiforestpark accounts and had visited the Mojosemi Forest Park Magetan tourist attractions. The data collection method is carried out by distributing questionnaires to followers via google form. Data measurement uses a Likert scale with 5 answer choices. Data analysis using simple linear regression test. The result of the coefficient of determination test is 0.529, which means that social media instagram and tiktok @mojosemiforestpark magetan affect tourist attraction by 52.9% while 47.1% is influenced by other variables. There is a significance value of 0.00 <0.05 which indicates that there is a significant influence and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of Instagram and Tiktok content on tourist attraction.
