Abstract

The background of this research is that the implementation of a digital-based management information system is necessary for the sustainability of madrasas. Information related to madrasas that were previously done manually is now digital and up to date to make education easier. This study aims to: (1) determine the application of Digital-based Management Information Systems at MAN 1 Kebumen. (2) knowing the supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and solutions for implementing digital-based management information systems in improving administration at MAN 1 Kebumen. (3) determine the impact of Digital-based Management Information System Implementation in Improving Administration at MAN 1 Kebumen. This research is a qualitative field research conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kebumen, and the type of research is descriptive qualitative. By implementing a digital-based management information system, administration can be improved. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation using the validity of the data: data reduction, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Implementation of management information systems using various activities related to digital in improving education administration: PILAM (Center for Information and Community Services); SI-WADUL Application (Supervision Information System and Direct Complaints); SI-PAKEL (Learning Activity Monitoring Information System); Teacher and Personnel Information System; IQRA' E-Library MAN I Kebumen; PPDB Online, Madrasa Website; PTSP Online Madrasa; E-Learning Learning; E-Raport. (2) Supporting factors for complete infrastructure, adequate human resources; training and training for teachers. The inhibiting factor is the network constraints during learning. (3) The impact of this implementation is (a) making it easier for teachers to input student data, (b) increasing the effectiveness of the student exam assessment system, (c) creating a more effective and accountable letter filing system, (d) increasing the productivity of administrative performance, and ( e) giving the role to the head of the madrasa in making decisions from the information obtained through the system.
